According Globoesporte, as reported by Goal Football Club, his former club Santos, have filed a complaint to FIFA for Neymar addressing implications of its transfer suspected of being fraudulent. For Santos, Neymar infringed Article 62 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code which refers to corruption. The complaint filed by the Brazilian club could not be clearer. "Neymar Jr violated Articles 17 (3), 17 (5) of the regulations and statutes of FIFA Player transfers and Article 62 of the Disciplinary Code. Given the bad faith of Neymar Jr and all other aggravating circumstances, including multiple violation of the FIFA Statutes and regulations during the period, the player shall be sanctioned with a suspension of six months of any official match in accordance with Article 17 (3) of the Rules of status and transfer of players of FIFA.
