In its final tuneup for the World Cup qualifying tournament, the U.S. women’s national team routed Mexico for the second time in five days, a 4-0 result Thursday before 5,680 at Sahlen’s Stadium in Rochester, N.Y. Amy Rodriguez, Megan Rapinoe and Tobin Heathscored in the first half and Alex Morgan tallied in the second.The Americans compiled a 12-0 scoring advantage in two friendlies with Mexico, the second-best side in the CONCACAF qualifiers next month.The U.S. qualifying schedule:Group playOct. 15: Trinidad & Tobago at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan., 8:30 p.m. ETOct. 17: Guatemala at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill., 8:30 p.m.Oct. 20: Haiti at RFK Stadium in Washington, 7:30Knockout stageOct. 24: probable semifinal at PPL Park in Chester, Pa., 7:30Oct. 26: probable final at PPL Park, 6Three of eight CONCACAF teams will join host Canada in next year’s World Cup.
