Sturridge is ready to silence his critics:

Daniel Sturridge Liverpool striker said he was ready to get rid of the consequences of injury that stayed with him for some time, when he returns to the squad after an absence of five months in the confrontation against West Ham United in the Premier Alangaza football league on Saturday concerns ... and injured Sturridge, who scored 21 goals for his team in the league last season in the groin during his stay with England last September.

Coach Rodgers has said that the absence of Sturridge had a "huge impact" on the team's performance in the current season, while Liverpool are in eighth place among the English first league teams, trailing by five points for the top four, but said he would not rush to re-integrate the player in the squad.
