On behalf of the 27th day of the Premier League, the Red Devils are difficult to come to grips deSunderland (2-0) thanks to a brace from Wayne Rooney in the second half (66th, 85th). Note that Sunderland ended ten following the expulsion of Wes Brown on the action of a penalty converted by Rooney on the first goal. With the win, the Red Devils move temporarily to Arsenal in 3rd place in the ranking.
